Little Rock Audiology Testimonial: Brad McCool – Ward, Arkansas

“I’ve had my Resound Versos’ for almost two months and I thought I should post a note with some thoughts about the performance of these hearing aids and Dr. Tracy Van Es.

I’ve been wearing one hearing aid for about 2 years and was not real pleased with the performance but felt it was as good as it gets. At the urging of my wife and kids, a couple months ago I visited with a new audiology doctor, Dr. Tracy Van Es at Little Rock Audiology. The discussion following the normal testing naturally centered on products, price, and that a pair of aids would be much more beneficial than a single aid. During the conversation I became very hesitant about pursuing this any further thinking at first that she just wanted to double her sales and then that the product might be a little better than what I currently had, but not enough for the cost.

I went home and talked it over with my wife and she said it was up to me as to what I wanted to do. I was still wary about the whole thing but had promised Dr. Van Es I would call back to let her know what my decision was. During our phone conversation she said the insurance company would cover a substantial amount of the cost and that I had a thirty day money back guarantee trial period. Though still being skeptical, I decided to give them a try.

I’ve had these aids now for about two months and am amazed with the sound clarity. All I can say is WOW!!! The quality of sound, directionality and noise reduction capabilities are phenomenal. I have been so pleased with the performance that I would now purchase them even if my insurance didn’t cover them. These hearing aids have the ability to deal with the noisiest environments. I’m no longer worried when people invite me out lunch meetings because I can participate like a normal person in the conversation. And how nice it is to no longer hear the frustration in my wife’s voice by having to repeat herself two or three times.

So my overall conclusion is that the Verso is worth the money. Yes…they were expensive, but the improved noise reduction and directional capabilities makes them worth it, there is truth in the adage, “you get what you pay for.” I’m quite happy and I would strongly recommend the Verso to anyone who fits the profile of the product. At the end of the day, all I really care about is the quality/clarity of sound in many listening situations and this product delivers the best performance I’ve experienced in very challenging listening environments.

Now for Dr. Van Es… first, my apologies to her for thinking that she would try to manipulate a sale. After getting to know her better I must say that it is not her character and is the farthest thing from her mind. Her genuine concern is for the well being of her patients and to see them fitted in the most beneficial aid(s) that will restore their hearing to as near natural as possible. She not only has a charming nature and is easy to converse with, but is very knowledgeable in her profession. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Van Es to you for your hearing deficiency needs.”
